The satanic cult thing is more real than you know. I dabbled in Satanism in the eighties. Our cult had more than a couple successful years killing babies and such, but eventually everyone grew up and started having families of their own and before you know it, no one has time for raping virgins or defiling churches. Kinda sad but c'est la vie.

Widespread looting after Hurricane Katrina
This was absolutely true in Chalmette, but the national guard put a stop to that. No telling how many looters they killed, but it was a lot.

What good is it to have kids if you can't kill them in a Satanic ritual/blood orgy?

The whole civil disturbance aftermath of Katrina was so exaggerated by the media, you would have thought that New Orleans was more dangerous than Normandy during June 1944.

The myth that 6 out of every 5 college women will be raped is one that always stirs the pot.
Didn't someone start a thread on how it was less than 1%?

No link, there were no reporters down there, just Exxon employees, national guardsmen, and looters.

Everything was greatly exaggerated. As a resident of New Orleans, we were told that the entire city was destroyed, and areas were flooded that weren't actually flooded. This doesn't mean that flooding and destruction didn't happen.
There was widespread looting, even if it was just people breaking into gas stations and grocery stores for supplies.

And me, which is why I'm interested in why you think there was widespread looting going on.

Not really.

The Church of Satan as founded by Anton Lavey I'm pretty sure is just outspoken Atheism.
That's probably not the entirety of what is considered Satanism though I still doubt that's a particularly widespread thing.
