The question is should the photos have been released, not did she get caught doing something illegal.

Don't get caught on the legal v illegal part. She has no expectation of privacy just because it is dark.

For the last 20 years I have always assumed that theater's are monitored by ir cameras. too many perverts and wild arse high schools kids causing mischief to not monitor for safety and liability purposes.

Could you make a case that she had the expectation of privacy when the lights were off, or at least, the expectation of not being seen?

Have you never been to a theatre? Do you think it’s so dark that the person a couple feet away can’t see you?

It’s a ridiculous discussion. She was in a public space, the rest is immaterial. These theaters are not pitch black. Someone seated nearby knew what was going on.

Who brought an infrared camera to the theater to creep on her?

The security company that installed them for the building

Lauren Boebert went ghetto. It's unfortunate. I hope the voters in her district dump her. IMO this is not who we are - Conservative Republicans.

You cannot point your finger at the atrocious things democrats do if you're not ready to take the moral high ground. It's that simple.

Well, I answered your question first. And it was a dumb question, so don’t act like I was interrupting some substantive legal analysis that you raised.

Consider she accused the theater of lying about her vaping and being unruly

Every major theater has these cameras. I thought this was widely known. There should be no expectation of privacy.

Don’t let the old lady feel you up next time you go to the amc. You probably are not gonna get in trouble, but a bunch of teenage boys are gonna be laughing at you.

A) I think they may have been public record and not able to be concealed

B) if they are actually private it’s a good lesson in apologizing and moving on instead of lying to cover yourself and make the business look bad as they would have the right to clarify the situation

On both counts, yes, every right to release the film

You’re welcome to counter.

It’s not about parties and conservative/liberal anymore. She still has the moral high ground. The other side is for abortion. The other side is for pedophilia. The other side is for child grooming. The other side is for genital mutilation. The other side is for child and drug trafficking.

But…. “Oh my gosh! Her boyfriend/husband/side piece copped a feel at a movie theatre! The horror!”

Umm, they were being disruptive and annoying other people. The rest was just additional trashy behavior.

Why do you feel the need to defend her?

Because, by all accounts, she is a terrific congresswoman.

I put my hand on my wife's thigh the other day when we were watching the new Equalizer movie at the local AMC. I feel so ashamed.
