Curious is anyone has any info on my left ear issues

A while back my left ear started becoming very sensitive at times. When someone would speak to me close to my left ear, I would jump or cringe because I would feel a vibration in it and it was very sensitive. The right ear is fine

I've noticed that when it's bad, things like a blender or music with a lot of bass really make it sensitive and ache

Any idea what this could be? Also, I've noticed that on days when I chew lots of gum it's worse. I also wear a night guard because I clinch and grind my teeth.

I wonder if it's something to do with some sort of TMJ or something with the nerve under the ear?

If thy ear offendeth thee, pluck it out. Better to be earless than to spend eternity in hell.

You might want to go to an ENT, not the OT

Not to alarm you or anything but you could have anything from a easily treatable infection to cancer. Good luck.

Now that's just uncalled for.

I have something similar. I just attribute it to the high frequency hearing loss I have in that ear.

Cockroach is living in your ear.

Spray ear canal with Raid.

And although this sounds snarky, he's exactly right. Get thee to an ENT pronto. Don't frick around when it comes to your hearing.

Go to ear, nose, throat specialist.

Be sure to take ten minutes and write history of the progression and current events in case its unusual.
