Lawsuit after auto accident

Yeah a woman ran a stop sign and crashed into my side. My face busted the windshield. I had to have stitches. I got my bills paid and 10k
I don't feel bad at all. I still have a scar on my forehead and my eyelid and it fricking sucks

Dec 2012 I got demolished on my fixie from a guy in a Tundra that ran a red light. I had a bad concussion and told everyone to leave me be that I was alright and refused to get into the ambulance.
Several hours later I regretted it. I never got the guys name but ran up some medical bills and lost a pretty nice bike.
Shoulda lawyered up.
eta: my hip popped out and back in place and I still am having issues with it 16 months later

I have to admit, I would feel bad about it as well...just not my style to sue folks, I guess...
unfortunately, our system has really pushed us into those tactics just to get what is fair...

Tort reform needs to be done across the board. Healthcare is a good place to start and just line them up.
