Anyone know who owns the property?

City services in Baton Rouge are a complete joke. No matter which department you call, they say it's not their responsibility. Send a complaint email to the mayor's office. They probably won't do anything since it's private property.

Until you've done any sort of long term travel around the country, you never really realize just how shitty customer service is in this state. This is yet another example.

Multiple people have contacted the office. Some by phone, some even in person over this issue. Could you not react accordingly to being told in those ways?
Maybe I should have filled out a maintenance request online that would have been responded to as "we will handle it" just for it to be ignored and me submit the same request a month later?

As a community committed to ensuring our residents feel happy, comfortable and safe in their apartment homes, this is not a reflection of the level of service we aim to provide at Lakeside Villas. We are coordinating with our staff and have a company on the way to properly take care of the dog’s body.
As a community that not only seeks to provide inviting apartments to our residents but also a happy home to their pets, we are saddened that something like this happened to a companion animal on our property. In addition to safely recovering the dog’s body, we are working to provide proper burial and seeking information on the dog’s owner. We will also make a donation to the Capital Area Welfare Society to help provide care for area pets and inform members of the community about responsible companion animal ownership.
Whether you’re a resident of our community, a pet lover, or just a respectful human being, this is a disappointing situation. One that we are taking seriously and working to ensure that issues of this magnitude – as well as more simple, everyday requests – are handled quickly and thoroughly.

I'm glad something is being done. Ever get in touch with Nakamoto?
Posted on 2/16/17 at 12:54 pm to colorchangintiger
No, I emailed wbrz several times but never got a response. Trying to call on my lunch break but work is getting busy, so it's looking like I'll have to wait to call when I sit in traffic. Wish I had a twitter to get in touch with him easier and can't find an email for him anywhere.

That has to be fairly recent.
I know the company I used to work for was looking to buy it last year or the year before. Probably happened when new owners came in.

Those owners of that property royally pissed me and many others off when they took that lake away from the good residents of Wedgewood who had access to it for all those years.
I hope the place fricking burns down.
