Should I worry about bringing beer/liquor or is it easy to get in/out of bars on the back half of the route?

You should be fine with bars. The only bar that's going to be a bitch is R bar, and that place blowsanyway.

Doesn't it pass in front of Molly's?
Last year I thought i remember watching it near Molly's and used Margaritaville as a bathroom and beer location.

Yes, it does. I used to watch it at a place in the Marigny, but my connection there sold it so I'll need a new viewing spot. Thinking about Molly's, great place.
