It's a loooooong way from completion... think 60 years+. But the more they start designating, more federal funding will be put to those designated areas to bring it up to interstate standards.




I found out a couple of weeks ago that businesses and whatnot in Harker Heights and Killeen wanted the designation because some major business have restrictions based on distances from interstates. With this new designation more business is able to set up shop in the area.

Obvious sarcasm is obvious. Of course I don't think they should be glorified tax men.
