Kidnapping in northeast Jackson results in one thug dead and one on the loose

This happened this morning to someone I know. Little did the suspects know he is an avid shooter.

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Jackson Police are looking for 1 suspect still at large, after a kidnapping on Pinewood Dr. near Eastover Dr. At around 6:30 AM, a man was outside his home, putting items in his truck when 2 male suspects with guns approached him and forced him back inside his house. The 2 suspects took the man's wallet, and made him take them to an nearby ATM, to withdraw money. One of the kidnappers threatened to return to the home and hurt the man's wife. The man pulled out his own gun, fatally shooting one of the kidnappers. That kidnapper's body was recovered in a patch of grass on Pinewood. The 2nd kidnapper ran from the scene and is still at large. He was last seen in a tan SUV with no tags. The victim is okay. Copyright 2015 MSNewsNow. All rights reserved.

damn, it is kind of strange that it took this long to get a press release out...kind of irritating that there is no description of the guy who is still at large, too...
