It's my grandson (9) . He and his little brother (4 preschool) were riding the bus Thursday and were sitting in different seats. This eight year old twisted my youngest grandsons(4) and made him cry , the bus driver didn't see it. That when my oldest grandson (9) grabbed the eight year olds arm and started twisting it , well the bus driver does see this and yells at my grandson to stop but he told her no and twist it till the boy cried The eight year old didn't come to school yesterday but I think my grandson will face some type of discipline Monday when they talk to both kids... is he looking at suspension?

Probably not from school itself but yes to riding the bus. He probably won't be able to ride the bus for x number of days.

Tell your 9 year old to punch the little shite on the nose next time.

If you are gonna get in trouble, make it worth it.

Sorry. In the words of Gordon Gano:
This will go down on his permanent record.

He deserves and ice cream Sunday and a pat on the back! Good job standing up for little bro. I'm sure he'll some discipline at school but he'd get a reward at home!

Do you really care, at all, about what a school decides as discipline? Who cares what they decide.

What kind of a loser grandpa are you if you allow your grandchildren to ride a bus with all those commoners?

yea we were proud of him for sticking up for his brother and I told my daughter he better not be in trouble at home. I also told him that violence is not the answer but if you have to defend yourself or your brother I'll allow it

I know you're joking( I guess) but we all work. It makes my stomach turn having him ride a bus but I'm glad he has an older brother to look out for him

The value of social interactions at school are underrated. Keep em on the bus

He'll prob get in trouble for telling the bus driver no and not listening to her.

It's one thing to fight back but another to ignore an adult.
