Speaking of terrible ads on local radio, I didn't realize that Buddy Songy was still on the air. I stumbled upon his "sports talk" show last week...dude has not changed since the last time I heard him and that's been 15+ years...starts off with same lame Bonnie Ratt song from the '90s...first ten minutes of the show is nothing more that an ad for endorsements...Brew Bachers to O'lindes to Manda's...dude didn't start talking about sports until after his first break...same lame "jokes". God it was awful. Does anyone listen to him? Do the likes of Gary and Fish still call in?

I'd like Songy to be on 104.5 for 1 hour only, just for nostalgia. Who was the local on-air sports personality that Buddy despised, and didn't try to hide it when he was on air?

Was it Jimmy Ott?
I do miss the days of sports talk radio back in the day, Condon's corner, the Press box show (esp lock of the week Friday) and Songy

That copier commercial where the dude obnoxiously pronounces copy like he's holding his nose though

Carlie's voice is fine, but what she says makes me change the station. Nobody listening to 104.5 is coming there for incessant Justin Bieber songs. She also sucks at producing, compared to James.

I find Carlie McCord's voice in small doses to be very sexy.
The key here is small doses.

I think it and she are sexy as hell...did you hear her singing the NA from a year ago during the NBA playoffs? WOW!

the pre-recorded interview commercials with the long, awkward lead-ins are the best:
"so your company dddoooeessss...?"
"we fix windows."
"and people should call you beeeccaaausseee...?"
"we're the cheapest and have the best service."
"and your phone number iiiisssss....?"

Like the whole deal about "slaying it"? Even Theriot couldn't say it because he said it "sounded vulgar".

Isn't Carley around 25 or maybe older? I thought there was an age restriction on being infatuated with Bieber.

Carlie has a voice suited for deaf people.
She's just lucky she has the looks going for her.
Or maybe she does great paper work?

I miss when Ott did his show from the Caterie on Fridays.
When Condon was the Condon of old.
When Buddy was live from the Gold Club on Fridays and would interview strippers on air

Any ad that makes people remember a business, is great advertising.
