Why are they separate? People can't be angry at both parties?

This is what's wrong with you frickers. You want to tell people who they should be angry at.

Is it possible that the police officer put the cuffs on really loosely on his wrists and the child in a fit managed to put them in the position in this picture?

The officer was actually really professional, the cuffs were a tad much but I'm sure he must have a felt as though there was a reason to use them. And frick whomever recorded that, they could have been and adult and helped to calm that kid down or correct hkm

You're a fricking idiot but all of us already knew that. Just what exactly do you think cuffing an 8 year old for a 1/2 hour is going to accomplish?

We need to go back to the practice of throwing the weak/diseased children into "the pit".

So I suppose my son that died at 7 months old bc he was born 3 months prematurely and was "weak" would have been thrown into the pit first had it been up to you.

GFY.

From someone who has suffered from ADHD his entire life... frick everyone of you who says it's not a real disorder. Oops sorry that was impulsive guys. No never mind I'm not sorry. You have no clue what those kids go through mentally. It is over diagnosed, but it is just as real as autism for those who have it.

dude you did not mention ADHD in the same sentence as Autism!!! Go take some adder all and study up on the differences.

Did I say it was the same? No. I know all about my disorder, as well as autism. I also know that they share many of the same symptoms and one third of children with autism also have ADHD. It's not this big false epidemic like you people like to think, only 3% of kids have it. They are both social disorders. So tell me again why I shouldn't use them in the same sentence? Maybe you should do your own research before you open your mouth son.

I said the exact same thing this morning, man

Fricking retard! My kid was disciplined and all I ever had to do 90% of the time was just point at my belt. But I would come unglued if this had happened to him at 8 regardless of how he was acting. I'm no where near a badass but I'll protect what's mine the best I can.

And contrary to what you sheeples think, when a dumbass puts on a badge he's still a dumbass and only worthy of the respect any other dumbass deserves. LEO are just like any other society in that they have heroes, motivators, authority figures, average joes, dumbasses, drug addicts and culprits in their guild as well.

A lot of people are gonna have strong opinions on this though none of them are informed enough as it relates to this particular situation to really make a proper judgement.

I will say the media spinning it into a story by adding "ADHD" into the headlines and "listen as you can hear him screaming in pain", is 100% horse crap. ADHD does not cause a kid to act like that and he is not screaming in pain he's screaming because he's in the middle of a fit which is what got him in trouble in the first place.

That said even if it's justified, which it very well may have been and I don't really have a problem with it, I just can't see a scenario where multiple trained adults would not be able to find a better way to restrain an 8 year old child.

The cuffs were a little tight on my 9 year olds upper arms, but we managed.
