Kentucky Bourbon Trail -- Pro Tips?

I'm headed up to Louisville with one of my jackass friends for a few days in May. We plan to wander the Bourbon trail.

Experiences?

I've been to the Makers Mark distillery and it was awesome. No idea if it was on what's considered the trail or if this helps your question, just felt you should know
