RIP the boat, but I wonder what the odds are this "total destination resort" comes to fruition

It's happening. They started work on the parking lot over a year ago.

Now that Slidell won't be having a yacht club, I'd say there's a real opening in the market for Kenner.

Long overdue. For years there was some legal issues with the Copelands which probably stalled hotel or upgrades.

It's a hotel and convention center place. It's operating like normal.
