Deputies got behind the vehicle, being driven by the suspect, Gregory Hardin, 32, of Addis, but the vehicle would not stop. Officials say a deputy then got in front of his vehicle with his weapon drawn, identified himself, and instructed Hardin to stop. Officials say the vehicle then kept coming forward towards the deputy, so the deputy fired at the vehicle and struck the passenger in the elbow
