It’s called Munchausen Syndrome. When a parent or caregiver claims that the child or person in their care is very sick to gain sympathy or financial gain. They actually sometimes will slowly poison the child to make them sick.

The boyfriend said the way they connected was his friend was writing to Joe Exotic, so he thought it would be fun to also write to someone in prison. So he decided to write to her and the ended up getting married in prison.

I met her and her mom in Nola years ago when they were living in the Ronald Mcdonald house. I gave them hornets tickets. I still have a card and a picture they sent me. Crazy shite

The family originated in South Lafourche. Gypsy was the result of an evening bowling and sects in the early 1990’s. She went on to say that they are only jealous of him because he's the one rocking her world every night and that his "D is fire".
Anderson replied to Gypsy and said, "Who said I gave a damn about what these jealous people say anyway, haha ... now come get it baby...".

I do agree with him though, at some point she knew and I’m sure she enjoyed the scam herself. I’d put money she knew she could walk way younger than what the series shows.
I feel bad for her because of everything she went thru but don’t understand the praise of modern criminals and celebrity status. It just feeds the other trash.

She literally went from going to prison years ago with no access to the outside world besides writing letters, to blasting her sex life within a week of being released. Poor girl probably belongs in a mental hospital

I first heard about it when a friend of mine suggested watching "Mommy Dead and Dearest" highly suggest watching that documentary.
