I just happened to be leaving the Beach Corner and rode past these guys. Decided to turn around and chat. All from Bama and open carrying pistols (on their hip) which there is nothing wrong with. But these Bama nuts are on another plantet. I support the monuments staying up but all these people from Bama here makes me ill. When I'm sober tomorrow I will update this post.!

Why didn't you tell them how they made you feel?

If they stop the monument from being removed, can the count it as another national championship?

Compromise:
If the statues get peaceably taken down they can be shown on tour at all the Alabama WalMarts?

Are there seriously armed people protecting statues in NOLA right now? Is there a news link on this?

Sometimes those that try to help just make things worse.

Keep the statues

wonder if these protesters will be around on tuesday for the Sterling announcement. Talk about potential for a big clash!

Why bring out the flags? It just makes them look as dumb and trashy as they probably are.
If you want to protest or "protect the statue", fine but do it in a way that people will actually listen. Instead as soon as the majority of people see the flags, they write anything you are doing off.
Why can't people figure this out. To be heard is one thing, to pass your message along that people will LISTEN to takes some common sense.

There was about 5 of them out there this morning sitting in folding chairs. Must be nice to not have work and be able to protest all day.
