Just got done watching the movie "Her" and I've got a question

Not necessarily about the movie itself but the type of relationship Theodore and Samantha had.
Sure, one was a real person and the other an AI/Computer OS, but the love they had for each other. Is that kind of love real or does it only exist in Hollywood?
By the way, more specifically, I mean the type of love they had for each other up until he found out she was doing the same thing with 600+ dudes.
