Good friend of mine is now in remission over a year now and is doing fine. It cost him one nut, but he says his poker is still working so i would say he's good. They say that type of cancer is one that is beatable. Good luck with your BIL.

I know several guys that had this. They were just too nutty so they had to remove one.

One guy even had 2 kids after the nut was removed. \

Hopefully your BIL will be fine.

ETA: They can even put him a fake one in there so if he's getting them massaged, his SO would never know.

you've obviously come to the right place for encouragement, understanding, social filters, and sympathy.

Urologyhealth.org

Official website of AUA (organization that oversees urologist)

Best of luck. In general, very treatable condition

One of my friends had it. He got a synthetic nut to replace the one that he lost so it looks normal.

With timely diagnosis, testicular cancer is most likely treatable and most often curable. It is the most common cancer in men 15 to 34 years old. Still, it is fairly rare. About 8,850 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer in the U.S. this year. The risk of death from testicular cancer is small. About 410 men will die of testicular cancer in the U.S. this year.

Didn't he once say something like "When I once said I'd give my left nut to play in the World Series, I was just kidding"?

First hand account right here.

OP, I would think nut cancer is probably the "best" cancer. You get all the sympathy and good will from folks because you have cancer, esp with it being a nut. But in reality you just lose a ball and then you're good to go. No big deal really..I mean compared to pancreatic (outlook not good) or stomach or bone (have to be painful).

After nearly 15 years with the same woman I could lose both of mine and not notice for awhile.

Your bro-in-law will be slamming your sister from behind with that one nut smacking her in no time.

Good luck to him. Its a good thing he caught it himself rather than a symptom causing the diagnosis. Hope its early and then he should be ok.

I know a guy who had both testicles removed and does fine since he gets Testosterone shots once a month.

Tom Green had testicular cancer years ago when he still had his show on MTV and did a whole documentary special on it.

If they caught your BIL's cancer early enough, his treatment might be as simple as surgery to remove one nut.
