Just attacked by random dog in my yard.

So I have a hard time sleeping in my room when the garage light is left on. I decide to go outside to turn off the light. To get to my garage I go out my side gate and through the yard. After I turn off the light I see a pair of eyes in the distance. The type of night eyes that an animal puts out. I couldn't make out what it was so I stopped and looked for a second. Then out of nowhere this large lab comes charging at me, no not to just jump on me like a normal dog, this thing is full on drug dog biting my arm. He takes me down and here we are wrestling in my yard in the mud in the pitch dark. I finally get him off me with enough time to squeeze into my gate. I was lucky enough to be wearing thick layers. If not I would be pretty marked up..
