That had a cockroach hidden within the couple pounds I bought.

Cockroach is hardened, as if boiled along with my crawfish.

Am I going to die or am I the Roach King? What's the worse that could happen?

Roach was split apart. So, I am assuming it's insides were spread amongst my food.

Probably a water beetle, not a cockroach.
You'll survive.

Of course you'll die of roach AIDS. Obviously no human can survive cooked roach particles.

I would leave a million $ on the table if I saw a roach in it. All bets are off when a roach runs out and starts flying.

I really wouldn't leave a million $ for a roach but I'd be real girly and say things like ewwwwwwwwww and jump around flapping my hands like a bitch while trying to kill it.

Let's face it, if people started eating cockroaches hundreds of years ago, we'd probably be buying them by the sack and bitching if we suddenly found a crawfish mixed in.

This is so gross. 1 more reason for me to avoid this stuff.
I'm not from LA and I've only had crawfish about 3 times. I hate crawfish etouffee.
I'll eat the boiled ones (well before I read this post I would) but I don't see the big deal about them.
Favorite seafood is shrimp. Any kind of shrimp.
I like fish, and 1 or 2 grilled oysters are ok but no oyster dressing.

I've found water beetles cooked in many an etouffe'. It's all protein once broken down in the body. I kind of liked the consistency myself.

I ate a cockroach before. It ain't the end of the world if you eat one. Don't be a pussy.
