How aren't Christians treated well in the real world? Because fat lesbian writers at huffpo write mean articles?

There's tons of persecution on this website for Christians. I've been laughed at repeatedly and told my beliefs are made up fairy tales, and that I'm dumb and simple minded for believing in them. It's way more than just "teasing".

Get your story straight.

How would you have handled the situation before being famous with your own children if this would have happened and then if given the opportunity to be in the spotlight on a show would you have announced this first or thought to yourself this ain't none of anyone's business because it was personal or a family matter and was already handled? I'm asking you personally now..I threw it out there earlier and only 2 have said something..but I'm asking you if you and your family were in this situation what would you do..plain and simple..

repeat simpler questions that you want me to answer.

I can tell you a few things, if i had a 14 yr old that was brought to my attention was molesting my daughters, it would have never have happened another time at all ever. I would have physically make it priority number 1 to protect the rest of my children in the house from the 14 yr old before i started protecting the 14 yr old.

My story is straight. What I said about there being persecution on this site was in response to whoever said there wasn't. Doesn't mean it matters in the grand scheme of things.

Change business to family and you're right..

How many times does it have to put in this thread that Christians are not perfect...we mess up..just because they don't announce their wrong doings to the world didn't make them hypocrites..they have said they weren't perfect in their show..but that don't stop them from trying to live that way and encourage/motivate others to live that way...

Geocentric was never part of Catholic doctrine. Many catholics and non-catholics alike believed it. Many catholics (wrongly) persecuted those who didn't. But it was never part of the necessary beliefs for salvation. That has never changed.

Ok, but here is what you said:

what is heresy cannot change

Can you still be convicted of heresy for teaching that the sun is the center of the universe? If not, it sure looks like Protestants aren't the only Christians who change what is and what isn't cool with the church

You sound like a pastor that got busted sleeping with prostitutes. You just can't be that guy on stage or on tv with those type of skeletons in the closet.

His head would explode reading about some of the "heresies" around the time of the Council of Nicea (which decided on some of the doctrine (which he claims had always been settled) about 300 years after "the church" started).

Sorry I know it was a lot to take in...

1. How would you have done it physically to make sure it only happened once?
2. Would you have notified any authorities?
3. Fast forward 14 years, and an opportunity comes along to make money and provide income for your family on a t.v.show; do you tell the producers up front or don't say anything at all because you "physically" took care of the situation 14 years ago and there was nothing more?

would have supervised my daughters or the son during the times at which he previously hunted down his victims.

didn't someone else notify authorities?

They had that show in the works not even 1-4 years after all that was going on.

Not a pastor and have only been with 2 people including my wife..

And sure you can..if that was your past and you have changed..some call it a testimony..people can turn their life around for the good..

now it would be a whole different story if this would have happened recently and after the show had been on for a while and after everyone has seen their lifestyle..but even still the whole family doesn't need to be thrown in the mud!

and you talk about it and don't hide it. my brother has a ministry but is a former drug addict etc and all that good stuff. He doesn't have his skeletons hid.

Ok insert 1-4 years in place of 14.

And yes someone else did..but would you have done it before the chance was given for someone else to or would it have to be found out by someone else to out the situation..

So with answer number one..the son would have stayed home and you just would supervise them more? Maybe I didn't ask the question properly...what would have done physically to the soon one you found out he was filling up on his sister's/your daughters??

It's a different scenario though. Talking about being a drug addict doesn't immediately "out" other people like it would for the Duggars. You can say it was wrong of them to protect Josh if you want but you can't blame them for trying to protect the daughters.

so they didn't report him but the article is parading around like they did everything right for bringing him to family friend state trooper guy for a chewing out party.

My biggest point is they shouldn't have gone on with a reality tv show then. They choose to do so. This is the type of deserved backlash they going to get for having that skeleton in the closet. But they made lots of money doing it so i'm sure don't regret it.

Ok so we understand the same thing...

Throw in the fact they were minors when this happened... Would you immediately share something like this with the world if this happened with your kids...family's go through tough times man..sometimes unfortunate things happen..this is a testimony that was for immediate family to pull through this disgusting unnatural thing..now to be thrown out there and smeared in their face...

when you choose to make your kids' life your business and putting a camera in front of their face, you already made that decision.

I can understand that opinion but they did choose to do it. That doesn't automatically mean they had to put their past skeletons on display. Hiding from the skeleton when is comes out is one thing but if they don't, I don't think they should be criticized for doing the show.
