Didn't see it already, sorry if redundant.

Edited title for the intellectually challenged.

I thought Gary died too. Title is misleading.

Joey Boots is the voice that would say 'Baba booey' and he's responsible for bringing it into the lexicon.

We know but your title makes it look like Baba Booey is dead

Gary is Baba Booey Brah!

This is Baba Booey, he's still alive

I'm not fixing the title.
Joey Boots is responsible for Baba Booey, not the guy that later played the fool to accompany that back story and phrase.
Deal with it.

Gary Delabate (sp?) screwed up a name and said Baba Booey one time on the show. He considered it a done deal. Stern said 'no you'll probably pay for this a long time', and Joey Boots then began interjecting 'baba booey' at times during the show, and after that Gary became known as Baba Booey.
That's the back story.
I consider the phrase linked to the guy that put it in the show mainstream but I can understand if people are confused.

Dude, what the frick? Thought you were talking about Gary. Joey Boots, still sad, but you're trying to get clickbait over this. Change the thread title.
RIP Joey Boots.

And on a side note, how is High Pitch Eric still alive? I'm putting it all on black next year on my celebrity death pool that he finally kicks the bucket when he probably should have died a good decade ago.
Edit: Just read the article and it was apparently High Pitch himself who found him dead in his apartment. Really sad.

Yeah, here's the original recording of when he got Baba Booey: LINK
Seriously man, you're just trying to get clickbait. Just say "Joey Boots of Howard Stern died". Everyone who clicks on this thread immediately thinks you're talking about Gary, and you know it.
