Main campus is good but there are several campus opportunities in the metro area to Baton Rouge.

She's Filipino or Nigerian. They don't sleep with Baws. Y'all are wasting your time.

I've heard UMC offers shift bonuses but Ochsner is more flexibile with scheduling, has she mentioned anything about that?

Oschner pay is crap for EMR consultants, I've also heard you can do better at other hospital systems for nurse pay.

Very well played if trying to get guys on here to stop firing on you.

UMC-Lagos is probably hiring too lol.

She really did play it perfectly.

This alter has some real potential.

UMC vs. Ochsner

If you are a young Doctor or Nurse and want actual medical experience that will prepare you to go anywhere and deal with anything. Go to UMC.

If you want to practice at elective or specialty surgeries, got to Ochsner.

Try to get on at Memorial in Gulfport. Cost of living is a lot lower here.

LSUHSC, I graduate in May.

I live in Kenner and commute in, but I'm gonna move closer for sure.

I work at both.

You don't want med/surg at UMC--if you care about being a good nurse the other nurses will make your life hell because most give zero fricks and lean on the young people who have a conscience still. Eventually you'll turn into them--future jobs will know this and having had that job at UMC will be a black mark on your résumé.

If you have any aspirations for CRNA or NP school, go to TICU at UMC or SICU at Jeff Hwy.
