How did he actually die? What was his cause of death?

Just curious how did he get crucified on Friday afternoon, dies, then gets transferred to a tomb and rises from the dead on Sunday morning?

Asphyxiation or heart failure from crucifixion, then lanced in the side to make sure he was dead rather than the customary leg breaking.

I don’t understand where your confusion lies regarding timing?

He must think Sunday comes before Friday.

He was nailed to the cross late Friday afternoon

When was he pronounced dead?

When did they take him off the cross and transport him to the tomb?

He apparently wasn’t dead for too long since he rose from the dead Sunday morning

Was he ever even actually dead?

Where is your confusion? For the timeline to add up, in your mind, what what the timing of the events have to be? Just curious.

this just proves you either haven't read the New Testament or do not believe the New testament

Likely suffocation.

The Jewish day begins at sunset.

Jesus died Friday evening before the Sabbath. He was dead on the Sabbath.
They found the tomb empty on Sunday so the third day was well underway by that point.

It wasn’t 72 hours. It was 3 days.

Roman executioners were largely experts on declaring death. Don’t think they missed this one.
