question: this woman who passed away in 2015 wrote what is billed as australia's 'gone with the wind' ...

That is the answe. She wrote a great Roman series which was awesome. She researched roman history so much she went blind and had to have help writing the last book.

wouldn't be surprised if someone older knew it ... she did write 'the thorn birds', tho i knew only the name of the book/miniseries ... these were all younger contestants, so no one knew it ...

No idea what to put as my response. But sweet mary the person in first position screwed up. Everyone knows when you are in the lead headed to final jeopardy, the most you bet is enough money to, if you are correct, give you 1 dollar more than double what the second place person has going into final jeopardy.

So in this case, you bet 12,301. Then cause everyone got it wrong, you win with 5,799.
