I had a rental Grand Wagoneer on a business trip not long ago. I have to say, they’re super nice. I really liked it.

I've heard this but man they are ugly as sin too.

I know someone that got one and it spent 8 weeks in the shop during the first 6 months.

Glad to see they’re working hard to protect the Jeep reputation.

I suspect almost all of them will end up sold in bulk lots to car rental companies.

Currently the leader is a Lincoln Navigator with a 495 day supply. Around 5600 on lots and last 45 days they have sold around 500.

I’d imagine most vehicles in the same segment are sitting these days. Chrysler hasn’t been offering much incentive on the Wagoneer. They might put a little cash on the hood or offer a rebate, but financing is still 5+% for anything longer than 36 months.

To those balking at the price, there is a difference between Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Grand Wagoneer is $85k+ and it competes with Escalade and Navigator. Wagoneer is cheaper and competes with Tahoe/Yukon and Expedition.

Have not driven or rode in either but I think I would take the Navigator 100x over the Jeep

Also based on commercials the Lincoln wins with Matthew Mcconaughey by a large margin over Jeter

We looked at one. We bought a Yukon instead.

The Wagoneer is nice enough to drive but it was clear that it was the first big attempt at a modern full sized SUV by Stellantis/Chrysler. I am sure the next generation will be better.

The Jeep Wagoneer is full -size but not near 100K. The Grand Wagoneer is Jeep’s attempt to keep up with Cadillac & Lincoln. That one is over 100K. IMHO they look overstyled & almost gaudy with those chrome accents around each window. No way in hell would I pay half that for a Jeep product.

In the minority but I don't think they look ugly at all.

Saw someone in the forums that wrapped the window accents and b/c pillars black. Looks so much better, night and day difference.

The Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer look almost identical.

Another problem when one costs $20,000 more for a similarly equipped version and the dealer has to explain that they are not the same. For the price delta it should be obvious.

Both of them have an oversized version of the same greenhouse and profile of the shitty Fiat based Jeep.

Why anyone would buy a vehicle other than Toyota is beyond me. If you need a heavy-duty truck, then you may have to look at Ford or Chevy. I haven't heard good things about the redesigned Tundra though.

I have a Grand Wagoneer with the 6.4. I love it, although I understand why people would hate it. For me the power and acceleration, lots of space, and plush interior did it for me. Gas mileage does not affect my budget.

33,000 miles and so far it’s only had minor problems.

And for anyone wondering, the Grand Wagoneer is totally different from the Wagoneer luxury-wise. I had a loaner Wagoneer and I felt like I was driving a completely different car. The GW ride is so much more smooth and plush. I wish they differentiated the body style like an Escalade vs a Tahoe, but I suppose they wanted to play it safe with its investment by not having two entirely different body styles.

The service sold it for me. In order to sell the Wagoneer, The dealer has to follow ten promises set forth by Stellantis which does not apply to any other Jeep product, including having the service advisors personal cell phone and them driving 30 miles to pick up my car for service and giving me a loaner.

It’s a nice vehicle if you have the budget for it. It may have bugs and not be as reliable as a Toyota, but it is very competitive with the Escalade and Navigator, which are also nice vehicles.

That is massive, where did you see those numbers

I don’t know where he dug them up from but, historically, those numbers sound right for Chrysler.

They make a ton of cars that they can’t sell yet and would store them someplace like the Pontiac Silverdome until they could be moved. And they would sell them at a steep discount to their employees, who would treat them like a disposable car to be walked away from when it was no longer drivable.

You have to spend at least that to get a decent vehicle for your truck nuts.

Pay to play baw.

Bruh, Toyota isn't magical. They have a pretty solid reliability history, but are notoriously milquetoast and outdated from design and technology standpoints.

Same here. Best value by a long shot.
