I am beginning to believe this. My 3/36 miles warranty went out in July and its been all down hill after that.

Found out today at only 50K miles my rear end is done toast. REALLY.

I am a huge jeep fan this is my third one but I guess Jeep just can't make a good rear end. My 96 lasted to almost 100k and I feel that's pretty good. But a 13 model jku at 50K that's crazy.

I know nurse loves hers anyone else have this same issue with their JKU.

I had a CJ5 that broke down often.
I still miss it and will buy another one day.

Jeep is like a crazy ex girlfriend. You just can't stop going back to it.

I saw a brand new Jeep and the lot wanted 42k. No way I would spend that on a Jeep

I'm an old bronco owner so im biased. But Jeeps for the most part aren't very well made.

I'm not at 50k yet.

But I have an extended warranty until 72-75k miles that covers a good bit.

Two things Dodge is known for bad transmissions and bad rear ends.

Add a third thing wiring.

I had a 1997 sport that was the worst vehicle I have ever owned in by 50 years on the earth.

I will never even consider buying another after my experience with them.

Edit: Wiring/electrical problems

My Tacoma is great. My wife's Jeep is junk. We've spent many thousands repairing her Jeep.

My neighbor loves them and is a decent shade tree mechanic.

He has a daily driver and 2 others that he scavenges parts from to keep the daily driver on the road.

My '99 that I had in high school is still running at 120,000 miles. Of course that's 2 engines and a transmission later.

I'm driving it while my money pit is getting fixed.

No doubt. I begrudgingly sold my TJ to finance my engagement ring.

Guarantee I will be buying an old beater to put it back together as a leisure vehicle and maybe first vehicle for first born.

This.

100k isn't good at all. My Chevy is at 375k and still running good.

Had a Rubicon that never gave me any problems other than shite gas mileage, which was my reason for selling. Will probably be my next vehicle purchase, TBH. There's just nothing quite like having the top down and doors off on an early fall afternoon.
