Go look at reviews on amazon. Apparently Jawbone has serious quality control issues. Many people are on their 3rd or 4th or 5th devices within a year or less.

Why didn't you like the Fuel Band? Just curious.

This seems like a huge waste of money. I like to use good old analog exercise. It's way more efficient.

Because it is not very good. It has half the features and costs the same.

I'm on my third in a year. The first one I got was defective (vibrating feature never worked). The second I broke working on my Jeep. The third has held up so far but I haven't worn it much lately.

The vibrating feature is what usually gives problems but the band will work without it. You just can't use the alarm and idle reminder features.

ETA - It is really only effective if you input your meals during the course of the day. Once you have your menus setup they don't often change. We are creatures of habit.

The Nike Fuelband literally does nothing.

I want the Up for the sleep tracking mostly

Buy a fitbit. I've had mine for about a week and I love it.

I've had my bodymedia fit since April and love it. Never had any issues with it.

Love that it syncs up with your myfitnesspal and will automatically carry over calories burned there. Love that I can use the app on my phone and use the quick workout setting and see how many calories I burned during a workout session.

It's bigger than the other ones, but more accurate at tracking calories burned cause it isn't just a pedometer(like the fit bit)

I got the fitbit force and really like it. I did some research and it seemed to be the best. I like the sleep function. It shows you how much "restless sleep" you get at night. It seems to be accurate for this.

My gf has the fitbit flex and she loves it. Although, I would prefer the one that shows numbers on it. Don't know which one it is though.

Can someone fill us in on what any of these things are? Is it a running apparatus?
