Are you retarded? No 12 months in a year. So if you're figuring out years with months you divide by the amount of months in a year (12) by the amount of months there and the number you get is the years. So 15.66667 years.

Obviously this guy is a total POS, but 16 years for possessing child pron is absurb if he truly was not involved in any way with distribution or production of the material and was not found to have had sex with a child- or attempted to do so.
