I don't know if I've seen anything stranger. He is my brother so I was just backing his play because you guys were coming down on him. Blood is thicker than hurricane water I guess.

Like I said, after thinking about it, it isn't any different than someone keeping ticket stubs, etc.

I still have a tree stump in my yard from Gustav.. Want it? It's in my backyard. Actually, its not in the best shape. It's in an area that isn't that easy to get it out of, but now it is pretty much rotted, but it was caused by a historic event.. named Gustav.

Last week I was in ABQ on the Tohajilee indian reservation where the last few episodes of Breaking Bad were filmed. I mapped the place out like a crime scene. I collected sand, a couple of big rocks that appeared on film and shards of glass from the cars in the shootout. I tried so hard to find shell casings. I guess the desire to collect odd things runs in the family.

You need to post this in that thread about stuff you've done that no one else (in their right mind) has ever done.

I think this is my favorite thread ever even though I'm not interested enough to read 5 pages.

What would make this cool really is to see the difference chemical properties between them.

Well, I've heard of people who collect dirt from different countries. Water from weather events? I guess...why not?

I've heard of weirder collections...like that guy who collects airline barf bags.

Idk why the OP is catching so much shite.

When it comes to birth control, collecting tubes of water is a lot cheaper than tubal ligation.

Is this something you show off to your dinner guests? Like instead of a trip to the man cave to look at sports memorabilia or deer racks you show them your storm water tube collection?

Since all rain water in this area basically trickles back down our tributaries and eventually back into the Gulf of Mexico I can get a sample of the next hurricane or tropical storm which will represent every major storm that has ever hit our area.
Saves me a lot of tubes.
