It is a thing out west where Jeeps are actually used off road and not just something to look cool in or in case the road to the mall may be wet.

All of the expedition Tacomas have those cab over tents. Don't get them. Seems they would sway like crazy. That and if you crawl out you'll fall 6 feet

I dont understand the confusion. It is just a rooftop tent, they are pretty popular with campers and overlanders. This is what they look like folded down, some are more compact.

I usually drink when I camp. Crawling out of that tent to piss in the middle of the night would probably end up in a broken leg.

If you are camping out in the middle of nowhere, where are you gonna be driving to while camping? I would assume those set ups are for people that go off roading and find remote spots to camp at. They aren't driving to a store or anything while camping.

That set up is cool and all but would never work for us cause we camp with our dogs.

I would want one of these instead..

Search "tacoma expedition tent" on google images. Lots of off-roaders use them. I guess it frees up bed space instead of carrying a tent?

Only a Gator fan would try to drive that down the road. You dumbass, what kind of gas mileage do you expect?

You think you can live in the multi-storey tent and move out of the trailer park. Don't you?
