IT Groupies in the Workplace

I've noticed a phenomenon in the workplace (in a wide variety of industries) that each workplace has at least one IT Groupie slummin' around that specific department.
Usually the IT Groupie is a female employee not employed in the IT Department. Just an outsider who enjoys hitting on the IT guys...usually a female teaser who enjoys making the stereotypical IT dude jizzy. All props to the IT dudes!
I've noticed this IT Groupie phenomenon in various different industries.
Has anyone else noticed this trend?

I have seen the more attractive ones prey on the socially awkward ones and get them to do their work by flirting.

Nope, I've just noticed a general dislike for IT from pretty much everyone outside of IT. Especially when they try to call themselves engineers.

Separate but somewhat related story...a woman at work was put on Probation and had to go through sexual harassment training because she asked one of the Helpdesk guys, "Whose dick do I have to suck to get a new keyboard?"

And almost every company has a sales rep that can't stand an it guy.
