Just searched and found the link to Google play store and get a message saying this isn't available on your carrier.

Yea I downloaded video tube (tubie). Click on my playlist, play a video, click to home screen and it stops playing just like it would with YouTube. I don't see the headphones button

I have an old app called tubex (no not pr0n) that does this. You can play YouTube in background.
Apparently google cracked down on this and they were forced to "update" their app which prevented the app from playing in the background. I never updated so it still works.

I will say this about YouTube. Just can't find my jams on there anymore. No don Henley. No bob dylan hurricane original. They barely have the fricking eagles on there.
