I love a woman who can be confident with no makeup and accessories, which is why I gravitate towards European women. What does it mean that a woman can’t feel confident without it? I wonder how often we prefer the no-makeup look not because it’s aesthetically more appealing, but because it signals something - like maybe they’re a cooler chick, or they’re more approachable, or they look more girl-next-door like?

I feel like that’s one less facade or barrier to have to break down. The ones who wear the most makeup tend to be the least self confident. People are attracted to confidence, so it makes sense.
