Don't be surprised to not find the fight in many places. The buy in was pretty steep. I was offered a "deal" at $3800. Didn't get it because I didn't think I could get enough people to pay $20 just to walk in the door.

You should probably spend the night brushing up on your elementary school grammar instead of watching two tiny dudes beat each other.

I know some bars that are offering a plate of food, a beer, and the fight for $40. IDGAF about boxing just like IDGAF about the World Cup, and I'm not going to pretend I do. Gonna be at a bar without a TV show

Bars will have a much cheaper by in due to less occupancy. I know BWW's should be showing it. TP Metairie is I believe as well.

Wrong, it is 4000 to show the fight at any public location regardless of the amount of people. There will be 8,000 undercover snitches paid by the promotion company to rat out any establishment bringing in a home cable box for the night.

He's the guy who ordered the fight, so I wouldn't say he's wrong

We were offered a tiered pricing based on how many units (stores) around the world opted into the fight.

Read that some BWW have opted not to show the fight as it was going to cost $5100 on average per store. That's a big nut

High cost of PPV limiting bars, restaurants from showing Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

Some major chains like Buffalo Wild Wings are essentially choosing not to show Saturday's Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight due to the high cost of ordering it.

Yeah, you've really got to have enough space to be able to accommodate the $5k in bar sales that would be added to your regular weekend sales. Jmarto probably knows the spread, but I have no idea how much a normal person would spend at a bar or how many people would come to a bar specifically because it has a boxing fight.

My guess is each person spends $50 on average, so he'd have to stuff 76 more people that are there that came to watch the fight

If I was a bar owner showing the fight and dropping that coin, I would be advertising...
