So I went out this past Saturday and had a few cocktails. Took an uber to the bar and was planning on taking an uber back

Anyway there aren't a ton of uber drivers there and it kept saying there were no available cars. So I kept trying again and eventually got one. Long story short I have about 15 Uber transactions that didn't involve me actually getting a ride.

Is this normal and will they credit my account or do I need to call the bank?

Either it’s a glitch or you were so wasted you kept missing the Ubers you were matching. I’ll guess the latter.

Go into the app and report all the rides you did not take.

They should drop off once they are no longer pending. We switched to Lyft lately. Been much cheaper and more available.

This happened to me. I called ubur and they basically said that the charge should stay pending, as they check to see if the account is funded before the trip happens, and when you request and don't get an actual ubur, it is removed in a few business days. Just watch your pending charges and it should disappear in a few days

See if you grew up and drank and drove like the rest of us you could have avoided all this hassle.

CSB Warning.

Buddy was out with us and there was a girl in the bar that was hammered drunk and somehow alone. His girlfriend convinced him to call an Uber on his account for the drunk girl and they piled her into the car and sent her to the address on her license.

All seemed good until a day later when he landed a $250 cleaning charge because the chick puked in the car. He was pissed, we laughed. No good deed goes unpunished.

The max Uber cleaning fee is $150. I know this, because a driver recently tried to scam me

If true, not doubting you, then he exaggerated the story. I am certain it happened though because his girlfriend confirmed and was most unhappy at him getting to repeatedly say "I told you so."

That $150 charge would be a level 4 cleaning fee (the max). I had to threaten to go to the cops before the driver refunded my money

Were you cancelling? They charge for cancellations. If you report it in the app you could probably get some of them refunded.

Why so you make stories up so often? The driver wouldn't even got you with the fee until your ride is over. The driver would have no control over issuing a refund. Calling cops would be useless since you wouldn't be anywhere near the driver

No

It would time out and say that there were no available cars and to try again soon

I got hit with the fee the next day. Even gave the guy a tip and five star rating that night. I argued with Uber through email, he provided pics of his wet back seat, and they said I'd still have to pay. I told them I'd get video of me getting into and out of the front seat, and I'd get the police involved if he didn't drop the bogus fee. Their next email was him agreeing to drop the fee.

So no, that wasn't made up
