I've had people tell me that it's a fault of mine. I want to be as honest and thorough and cover my bases and a few people have been super impatient about it.

Well, if you're honest to the point of hurting people's feelings, then yeah, that may be too honest.

Like if your friend has a really ugly baby, that may be something you should keep to yourself.

Not every situation needs every detail stated.

You'll never get laid that way. Jesus, loosen up, smoke a lot of weed and start telling some lies for frick's sake, join the human race.

Yes, like when your girlfriend asks you where have you been? Hell no you don't give them the full truth.

No, I'm not that type of honest. I'm just paranoid like if I don't do every little thing perfectly, it'll come back to haunt me. Like say there's a discount fromt work. I may not be eligable. I have no idea. My boss is ok with it. Her boss I think is ok with it. And I have not been able to find someone in hr who could tell me one way or another. people say go do it but I'm paranoid it will come back to bite me.

Yes. People don't want to be lied to, but they don't always want the whole truth. Any man who's ever been in a long term relationship knows this.

So you're the timid honest, not the prideful honest?

If you don't feel right doing it, then don't do it. We have that lil moral compass that more often then not is correct. You know the difference between right and wrong, and if you are scared about getting caught up in something, then don't do it. Pretty simple friend.

Don't tell her her butt is big, and she won't tell you your dick is small.

Learn to lie. Live long and prosper.

Religiosity has nothing to do with my question, why do you ask?

I ain't timid about anything I do. I just don't know the answers and when I don't know the answers and I need to give answers, I get so wrapped up and confused I end up just not taking advantage of what I could reasonably.

Fwiw, I showed the business where I'd get the benefit proof of my position and they thought it was fine. I just don't know if it's them that gets to decide that or my company.
