Friend of mine (pretty sure he is straight) sent this out to a big email group...he is selling a scooter:

quote:

Selling my scooter for $700. 2008 150cc gas scooter, Jackel 150S, bought it on a whim, fresh off a tune-up, redone carb. Starts up & runs fine. 4 stroke auto transmission No title, and the VIN tag is near impossible to decipher (Chinese dot script) so this would be a ranch / farm / beach community bike as registration would be tough. There may be a VIN stamped in the frame somewhere, but not discovered yet.

Is $700 a good deal?

You know what they say! Something about fricking a fat chick and riding a scooter. It's fun until your friends find out

I used to see football players riding scooters all over campus at LSU. Was always kinda curious where they got them.

I still see a few of them around the city streets of ATL. Mostly East Atlanta and Lil 5 Points. The city has put up more bicycle parking pillars and I see more people riding bikes around the city streets.

ETA: ATL now has bicycle rentals that you can jump on and leave at another station.

If you need a little extra padding on the seat, you can always just tuck in your dick n balls.

Not worth $100.00 if you can't drive it on a street.

That said, anything with a motor is fun. A Trail 70 can still be fun to olds like us.

I got a scooter after my 4th DUI and proceeded to quickly get my 5th, but that was the most fun one.

Now, since you been gone, I been feelin' a-bad, yeah!
I come out to your place – I'm afraid of your dad.
So you… get on your bad motor scooter and ride!
Come over to my place and stay all night. Yeah!
First thing in the morning we'll be feeling all right!
All right! All right! All right! All right!

Very much so.

Having said that, my step-FIL use to own a big touring scooter like this....

He bought it after he could not get his leg over a Harley any longer. He kept up with my and my pack on the interstate (usually about 80-85 MPH) with no trouble on the way to Daytona the last time he was still able to go.

I certainly looked down on the 10-12 idiots on scooters who turned left from the far right lane across 4 lanes(including center lane) into Matt's Icecream in Gulf Shores Saturday night.
I just shook my head like 'one of yall ain't gone make it home tonight'.
FWIW Fr33 and Tigerlee would have lost their shite on these young ladies.
