I have only been there once and was not impressed, the place was a dump and felt like a ghost town. But I see people talking about that place on here all the time so there has to be some kind of redeeming factor about it

People from Slidell go to college at LSU then don't leave Baton Rouge. That should tell you something

I grew up in Mandeville and never went there. There was no reason.

My wife's stepsister lives in Slidell with her husband. They are ALWAYS asking us to move to Slidell. It's weird because he makes a lot of money. I don't understand why he wants to stay in Slidell.

There is a lot more money in Slidell than you would think. Some really nice areas.

From Slidell, went to LSU, live in Lafayette

STTDB.

But for real, Slidell isn't terrible. It's a nice blue collar town with good people.

I'd rather live there than 80% of towns in Louisiana. It's just that it sucks compared to most of the rest of St. Tammany.

Lacombe is worse.

I know a 6'6" POS that lives there.

Cool Story!

I know a 5'4" douche that lives in Dallas. Doesn't make Dallas a bad town

Very good heroin and the occasional bar shooting.

But Lacombe had its problems before the POS moved there. I don't know anyone who has said anything nice about Lacombe.

He and his housemate are a piece of work. Not very nice people. That's all I can say.
