Is there any other stretch of interstate worse than I-10 between Beaumont and BR?

It’s nothing but industrial vehicles, 18 wheelers, and construction. There is always industrial shite like ladders, scaffold poles, etc. in the road just waiting to Jack up your vehicle. It’s also a rough stretch with horrible traffic. End rant.

You could narrow this down to just the stretch through Orange for worst section and it would win.

Meh, it's awful between the state line and Beaumont. Lake Charles has done some work.

Our infrastructure is crumbling nationwide. I shudder looking at the rusted undergirds of many of our bridges.

Minus having one of the worst bridges in the country. They do get bonus points for the half loop.

None worse - been driving it round trip fairly regularly for work and family starting 5 years before we moved to Houston in 2004. We now try to book ahead and find cheap flights. I hate it that much.

I-70 through Kansas is pretty brutal.

Look, BR traffic is ridiculous, but try driving from Orlando to Tampa on I-4. This morning it took me 48 minutes to travel 9.3 miles.

I-27 through Missouri has had no improvements to the road or the signs since it was first built. You can't read any of the signs at night. There's no traffic, but it still sucks.

ETA: I-29. The road sucked, I successfully forgot it.

Don't forget the narrow arse lanes with center barricades that have been in the Orange area for years. Always fun driving those in a rain storm with 18 wheelers everywhere.

Why complete? What’s the benefit to allowing easier logistics?
