Is there a stigma against compact pickup trucks?

The broads at work say the only men who drive compact pickup trucks are budding serial killers. They believe that a man should go big if he is going to buy a pickup truck, and leave the compacts to the ladies and the serial killers.

compact/midsized trucks are not much less expensive than a full sized truck. The resale value of the smaller trucks plummet. A full sized truck holds value much better.
