Is there a more useless group of employees than those working at Lowe’s?

Some of the dumbest people I’ve ever encountered have been Lowe’s employees tasked with facilitating renovation projects. They’re lazy, entitled, arrogant, and are the least qualified people I deal with in my business life.
And I deal with drug addict tile guys and roofers. Give me those guys over the fricking fat slob Lowe’s employee that can’t even operate their own systems efficiently. At least the drug addicts have a clearly defined relapse schedule and are excellent craftsmen when they’re sober.

I go there every time I can, but sometimes I don’t have any option but Lowe’s because they’ve forced the smaller guys out of business.

When I lived in Katy the Home Depot was head and shoulders better than Lowe's for customer service.
Now, out here in Tomball, it's the reverse. I have to set something on fire at Home Depot to get anyone to give me the time of day. Lowe's employees are nice, knowledgeable, and always around if you have a question.
I think a lot of it is a reflection of the management of the store.

Two Lowes employees fished my iPhone from a 12 foot storm gutter with a grate on top. I’ll be forever grateful.

Most of the people working at lowe’s are retired and doing something to keep themselves busy. They don’t care

Lowe's and HD have driven me to just bite the bullet and pay more at ACE Hardware. Mine is still locally owned and have great employees. Like, they get kind of annoying if you're just in there looking around because someone will come ask you if you need help finding something every couple minutes. But if you ever do, they know exactly where it is.

Walmart employees. Several years ago I had multiple Walmart employees trying to make fun of me when I asked if they had dry ice.. it was something along the lines of “this dude be crazy.. ice can’t be dry..”. This went on with multiple employees over 10 minutes.

That’s definitely part of it. The store manager at the one I’m referencing thinks he’s a fricking Yellowstone rancher.
The store in question is located in Murphy, NC for those curious about that.
