if we switched to just using CNG we could just sustain ourselves for a gasoline replacement. but it would make our engines last too long as its clean burning and the auto parts industry would suffer.

Hardly. You baws need to fig out why the Koch bros are silent.

A silver lining with her is she wants to shut down fracking which would actually help the offshore work.

Does anybody else notice these nicknames people like to use for HRC? To me they (and the people who use them) are unoriginal, dumb and not funny.

I think it o oh reinforces the negative stereotype of Trump voters and turns off undecided voters. I mean a funny nickname would be ok, but it just makes most people sound like crazies.

She is, at best, indifferent to fracking. Bernie was anti-fracking. Her Wall St. backers stand to lose too much for her to shut down fracking.

yep.
solar only has a chance if the government keeps subsidizing it.
shame on us if that happens.

No. But about 12 years from now it'll be done when self-driving electric cars are popular. Solar energy, though weak right now, has a very bright future as well.
don't quit your day job bro

It's been done for a year.

Actually its the other way around........she is against fracking and will shut it down.....
the good news for the oilfield baws, if that happens the shelf will open back up......thats the only silver lining if Hillary wins.

My job as a trader/investor (in other words, thinking about what our world will be like in the future)? I'm doing just fine bro.

No offense meant, but you're extremely ignorant about the subject and should probably just stop commenting.
Now if you wanted to talk about cracking and finding ways to stretch out the production of petrochemical products, I'd be down with that. But we'll never "not need" crude oil.

Hillary is pro-fracking and pro-Keystone. (Argue amongst yourselves whether Keystone is good or bad for Texas/Louisiana/Oklahoma oil production.)
Of course, like any dem, she wants investment in renewable energy but I haven't seen any position that is "anti domestic oil" from her.

no.
nothing will change immediately and when it does oil will still be fine.
coal will be diminished in usage as more efficient alternatives are developed by the Israelis and Germans.

met a bunch of the goldman sachs when someone I know started his company in PA. I had a bus pick them up at the airport and brought them to our shop in Pittsburgh to see our operations as we would handle all his directional work.

the Israelis have developed technology that creates energy from cars moving over a road. state of California is building two Israeli technology roads as test cases.
coal is the more important polluter. Trump/Koch clean coal is straight out of Orwell speak.

Hillary is for hire.
She isn't a believer like Barry. She will do whatever rich people pay her to do. I don't think people realize this.

I think she's just naturally more moderate. She's basically a Bush: someone who's been there long enough to roll their eyes at anyone radical one way or the other.
