https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

I keep trying to log in to plan my trip next week but it comes up with no pictures or formatting, just text and takes forever. I tried Chrome and IE.

Also, I have no idea about the place, any recommendations on things to do/see?

With a week to go, odds are everything is booked as far as dinning options go. Good luck.

Just planning for next week? The OT Disney experts will not approve.

Good luck, have fun.

It's not an approval thing. It's just nearly impossible to do these days with the way Disney is set up.

I took my kids on a last minute trip in March during spring break with 2 weeks notice, one of the busiest times of the year and we did everything we wanted to do, including all of the popular coasters in 3 days (mine train, splash, Thunder mtn, space mtn, everest, test drive, soarin, and many more) and stayed in the park. The only things that booked were restaurants and we didn't care about that at all.

No everything is already booked (hotel, tickets, plane, etc), i'm just planning out the rides etc on the fast pass now.

Should i make reservations at restaurants or are they easy to get into to?

I'm sure you did but there's so much more to do and there's no way you covered it all in 3 days on the fly. The OP said he is trying to plan. The best he could do at this point is get some fast passes and maybe get 1 or 2 dining reservations.

Sometime the less planned trips are best. Keep trying the food reservations up until the last minute, people sometimes overbook.

At this point you're going to be real lucky to get the more popular restaurants. Just call. Don't rely on the site or app.

It is working for me.

As for planning your trip a week out, you are screwed!!!! Like already said, restaurants are booked 180 days out and FastPass are booked 90 days out.

Where are you staying? What is your dining plan?

Next time we go, we are going to do all quick service meals. I found the best food in WDW was in Epcot, around the different nations, and they are all Quick Service.

Best hint, never use one of your snack meals for a drink. Drinks are not too expensive, but snacks are.

Another great advice, bring (or rent) a stroller, even if your kids are older (or have no kids). Great place to store your stuff, like a backpack full of water/cokes and snacks (plus souvenirs). There are a ton of them and no one bothers them.

I seriously can't understand how people can justify paying the price for some of the hotels. I mean 600 a night??

We did everything we wanted to do. Of course there are plenty more attractions that we did not want to see. It wasn't on the fly: 3 fast passes a day, then hit a few more attractions at night when everything was pretty accessible.

Planning is cool and all, but an agenda takes some of the fun out of the experience.
