Posters cannibalize and question each other's sauces on here with the quickness, so while it's not news I'd say it's a great cite for vetting information.

An "unnamed source" gets 100x the vetting here than it does at CNN or Buzzfeed whether it fits the agenda/beliefs of the majority of posters, so whatever this place is it's closer to journalism than a lot of MSN.

Do you mean the information your read from the actual boards? When there is official news you know, but in terms of posting.. Its more about sharing opinions, etc.
If you are referring to the news on the homepage then Yes, that's real news. Chicken isn't running a tabloid site or anything. but for the most part. There are threads that are news based, but from there its pretty much opinion driven.
