I dont think I've ever seen a car salesman that wasn't outside in his shiny golf shirt smoking or vaping.

How do car salesmen decide who gets to go talk to the potential victim?

If you drive up there are always 4 vultures and one wins, or loses I guess.

That and a wardrobe consisting exclusively of obnoxiously fluorescent button down shirts.

I don't smoke, but I agree with you that everyone I work with smokes about a pack a day.

I do drink a beer or two in front of my kid though so still trashy

Me and the wife passed through a chevy dealership to take a look. We didn't get out of the car, we rolled the windows down and cruised around. There was literally a salesman chasing after us.

One time, we went a Toyota dealership to buy me a 4Runner in Baton Rouge.

I asked to see a used 4Runner on the lot, the car salesman gets in the passenger seat WITH A LIT CIGARETTE.

I was in college and with my dad, who was friends with the guy who owns the dealership through legal work. That complaint was heard. fricking ridiculous. We left for another dealership and bought a similar car somewhere else.

They are usually perched on the walkway or handrail.

Only one comes to help. Was wondering how that one gets chosen.

Usually its the first one that was out there of the group.

If I see a trashy person I'll let someone else take my turn.

i usually call a salesman and ask for an apt. "if, an i usually do already know what i'm looking for" plus repeat business is good but seems to cut both ways, first sale great deal, 2nd normal, 3rd getting screwed!!!

It's almost a disqualifier in some places.
