Is NOLA ever going to get rid of mask/vax mandate?

I have to go Thursday for a convention. Was hoping they roll restrictions back after the new CDC guidelines but haven’t seen anything

Is there still a mask mandate in New Orleans? San Francisco doesn't even have one.

Yes for indoors and also a vaccine mandate. Lots of places aren’t enforcing though.
Only time it pissed me off recently was after I walked a quarter of a mile to go take a dump at the Cafe Du Monde in City Park and they wouldn’t let me in without a mask.
I may go shite on their patio one night just for that

Went to the extravaganza last night. As we walked in, the security people were telling people to put on masks. No one listened and just kept walking. It’s over.
They had state troopers in there maskless

They also weren’t checking bags or the meds detector or anything. Pretty free and open event with no nonsense. The guy was just laughing and waving everyone in when we got there. He yelled out “the buzzer means have a great time” in reference to the metal detector beeping. It was awesome.

I was sitting in the stands directly across from Gallier Hall the other night and LaToya and 99% of the people going to and from the inside had no mask.
