Yes. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people unload groceries and leave the empty cart in the spot by their car

Pretty trashy IMO. It's not hard to walk the damn thing where it's supposed to go.

Way more common in the south.

I'm guessing the oppressive heat, pop-up thunder storms, and lazy people explains explains why they are left in random places all over the parking lot instead of walked over to where they should be.

If you've seen the average person at Wal-Mart it's amazing they have the energy to even push the cart in the first place.

Then again I've seen motorized carts left in the middle of parking lots at Wal-Mart.

Yes, and it's equally as trashy for the store to have no carts available to use because they're all scattered around the parking lot and in the cart areas outside. I come across that one too, especially at Lowe's.

It's a very lazy thing to do and since laziness and trashiness tend to go hand in hand, I would say yes.

I normally just hang out the window and drag mine to the furthest spot in the parking lot.

I saw something recently that I completely agree with.

I judge people by the way they treat animals, by the way they treat waitstaff, and what they do with their carts in the parking lot.

Saw the same thing happen and left a nasty scratch along the side of someones car. Wasn't walmart, this time.

I walk it up to the closest empty spot to the store and leave it right in the middle of that bitch. I do it just to piss off the lazy fricks that circle the parking lot 5 times to find a spot in the first row because they don't want to walk the extra 50 feet.

The way I see it is by not returning the cart, a job is created. Job security happens everytime it don't return it.

If you are going to need a buggy, why not just grab one of the ones left by the scourge of society and bring it in with you?

I wouldn't say trashy, but it's definitely inconsiderate and lazy as frick.

I walk mine back to the store most times, but I'm fine with people putting them in the designated areas instead. There's a special place in hell for people that just leave them willy nilly in the lot.

Yes.

I used to think this was exclusive to poors who shopped at Walmart. Then I moved and saw the problem was prevalent at Rouse's and Whole Foods.

Animals.
