I hope not. That snow and ice sucked last winter in SC.

I lol at this after my stint in Minnesota. Take a guy out of new Orleans who "loves the cold weather" and put him in small town Minnesota and you'll change your tune before you can get out of the airport parking lot.

You mean to tell me it's colder in other places than in South Louisiana?

Nah. I don't believe you. People in South Louisiana can't like cold weather.

seriously.

frick the cold. If you "love cold weather" then move up north, although i suspect your tune will quickly change. the south is not supposed to be cold for very long and even winter is supposed to be mild. I hate long winters. frick the cold, frick winter, frick snow, and frick all of SELA "cold weather enthusiasts"

These motherfrickers don't know what cold is.

When you walk a few hundred yards into a stuff breeze on a zero degree day, you'll be begging to never deal with a real winter again.

Screw that. The cold makes boring woods seem more wild.

Ready for it to cool off now. Tired of the 90+ days. I like being about to warm up and be comfortable, frick sweating just because you walk outside.

Maybe some of us would like a reasonably cold winter. I didn't see anyone in here begging for sub-zero temps.

I, for one, am ready for some "Louisiana cold" weather. Crisp air, cool breezes, holiday festivities, hot drinks, fires, etc. I love fall and winter in Louisiana!

wtf...

dropping into the 50s at night does not qualify as "cold weather"

if you leave your windows open at night when it drops into the teens/single digits, then something is wrong with you.

That's how I define cold and remember winter - I spent more than twenty winters in the Midwest and it was offensively brutal.

Wind chills of negative fifty, stretches of weeks where it never rises above ten degrees, and snow that crunches as you walk on it; sending shivers through your body every step of the way. Also, the snow - yeah, it never melts in real winter climates.

And the summer? Yeah, it's fricking brutally hot and humid, just like the south, which makes the hundred plus degree swings that much more jarring.

Be thankful for what you have; real cold weather hurts, and it makes women gain weight.
