re: Is it logical to get married and not have kids?

People usually grow up and decide they actually want kids. Some don't, but many do
But if you are serious about not wanting kids ever, you need to be honest about that. That's a deal breaker for most women, for good reason

People who get married don't have to have kids. Happens a lot.
ETA: You're 24. A lot of guys in their 20's don't want kids. If the right woman comes along, you'll change your mind.

Yes. There are A LOT of people that should have this mindset. Some people just shouldn't procreate...

You can still have a happy marriage without kids. I know married couples that have no plans for children and are just enjoying life together.
As long as you marry someone on the same page as you kids wise. Don't marry someone hoping you can make them change their minds on the issue later.
Sorry your husband didn't change. Tell him to man up and make a masculine child.

I'm married and not having kids

Believe me, I know it is possible. It just seems like there is a good chance that a girl changes her mind.

The purpose of marriage is to have kids.
If you don't want kids then never get married. Just have a girlfriend. When it ends it will save you the trouble of going through a divorce.

I liked you better when you actually pretended to be a Christian

You are better than that. I'm a christian. You are too. Get to making some babies. Go.

I'm pretty sure I will never change my mind.
I have no desire to be a single working mother for 6-8 months of the year...

Well, I can rephrase it.
The entire point of marriage is to start a family. Man and woman create life. If this is not for you then don't waste your time with marriage. Just have a girlfriend or two.
Better?

Just live long enough son.
I was you about a decade ago. I had good run. I traveled, partied, spent money on new vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and answered to no one.
Eventually, for me, this all got old and became a shallow life. I met my wife around the time I turned 30 and slowly eased into marriage and kids. It's not always as easy as my previous life, but I wouldn't trade the two for anything.
You'll see...

I did not want kids in my 20s, but I married. When I reached my 30s I wanted kids.
Kids are seriously the best thing to happen to me in my life. Live your life how you want, but having a family you created is an amazing feeling.

The woman at some point is going to change her mind and want kids and you will be too invested at that point to say no.
It's called a sunk cost. You may feel too invested, but you'll never get that time back and your past costs shouldn't affect your future decisions. Hell, if she's that pushy and you don't want them, you'll be better off leaving her.

I'm actually seeing a fertility doctor. That's all the detail I wish to give about it right now as it's a very stressful topic at the moment for me.
